1st Day "Walking" Week 8 Day 5

I still have to use a crutch to balance and can't put full weight on my foot. After the distance from my bedroom to living room the foot is swollen, but the more I "walk" the easier it is. I am going to figure out today how much % of weight I am putting on it.  It isn't exactly like Lazarus where they say walk and I arise and walk. I can't fit my foot and brace in any of the shoes I have.

I can't wait to try driving and am working on strength training with my stretchy band. 

The other good news...I didn't gain wt during all this immobility. Lost maybe 1 or 2 lbs, but didn't gain and that is good. Probably cause I couldn't get to a snack.

See what 'determination' gets ya? Complete with no weight gain...way to go!!! Now go practice, practice, practice!

Glad to hear that the light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train! Way to go on not gaining any weight. That is definitely an accomplishment in my book.
