Week 6 Day 4 Daytime TV

I have decided after doing some research that the kind of person who watches daytime TV is probably not someone you would want to live next to. This is especially true of afternoon talk show watchers.

*** Disclaimer*** The watching of Cheaters, Maury, Jerry Springer and et al was done purely for the purposes of research.

The people who watch Animal Cops have pets, shop at Petsmart and donate money to animal causes. How do I know? That's who advertises.

The people who watch afternoon talk shows need lawyers for a variety of reasons, have structured settlements (from lawsuits??) and need fast cash, are unemployed, looking for a rewarding career in the health fields, need cheap car insurance from the high risk insurers and are up to their eyeballs in debt. There are probably 3 or 4 lawyers trolling for viewers who have experienced medical malpractice or been involved in accidents, for which they promise thousands of dollars. On one commercial, they post the type of claim made. One guy got $650,000 and they note the accident involved fatalities. No thanks. I guess suing someone beats going to Sanford Brown for a low paying job as a medical assistant, crime scene investigator, child care specialist or transcriptionist.  But to get to that job they will definitely need to get "the minimum insurance to make you legal". I hope they don't hit me with that.
There is also an ad for free telephone service for those receiving food stamps or medicaid - great! I think they should bundle in cable at my expense.

But yet, as I sit here with my foot up because of an accident, thinking about a career in the medical field........

Oh, and I got my absentee ballot today.

Daytime tv is the pits! I decided that when I was home last December w/vertigo. I'd rather come to work than watch most of that stuff. I was wishing I had DIY network...but I don't. Hugs...

Have you ever looked at the ads during soaps? It's always about cleaning detergents. I realized that one week when I was on vacation and had the tv on for background noise.

Maybe you need to work on your law degree from the comfort of your own home! I get info all the time for degrees in no time at all! I'll be sure to pass these along.

Ah, the things we do in the name of research... Thanks for sharing your findings, doc.
