I went to church yesterday for the first time since my accident. I "walked" all day without crutches in my slow zombie stroll. It is hard to imagine unless you haven't had it in a while, how much it means to walk and have your hands free. Carrying things is underrated. I can't go all day or long long distances, but I can do more and hopefully will continue doing more and more each day.
I started Christmas cards. My first one I didn't like (amy you will be getting a christmas card), so it is back to the drawing board for me. I am trying some new techniques. I will let you know how they go. I am working on this today as well.
My goal this week is to reduce my limp. Just like the OBamites, I am ready for a change and I have hope that a change is coming!

I can always count on you to send me the card most people throw away. Only when you care enough to send the best....
if i sent you the best you'd know i didn't care!
Glad to know there's a book to avoid. Can't wait to see what you come up with, especially Amy's "special" card!
Look at the blog I just found! http://operationskinnybitch.blogspot.com/
I have no idea if it's a spin-off from the book or not, but I had to laugh when I found it, of course after reading your post.
I hate bad books, especially if I spent bucks on it!
