I had a rough night the night before and couldn't sleep after 12:30. I had weird, intrusive thoughts and had finally solved all my problems byt the time 6 am rolled around and it was time to get up and make breakfast. So last night I took a sleeping pill at 10. I let the dogs out. Maggie did her business and came back in, but Daisy was off chasing something. I got up two more times and she wouldn't come, so if figured she could tough it out until Katie got home from the game in about an hour. I asked Katie this morning what time she got home. She said they had been late and she didn't get in til 12:30. I said ,"well I guess Daisy was ready to come in." She said, "Daisy was on your bed when I got home. " I asked her if the door was open and she said no. I asked her if she was sure Daisy didn't run in beside her and she said she was sure they came out of the bedroom.
Come to think of it, my ankle really hurt this am and usually that is the best time. i have to wonder if i got up and let her in. My crutches hadn't moved, so i must have just walked. I can't believe this wouldn't have woken me up from the pain. Any other explainations will be entertained.
My progress with walking this week has been really good. Yesterday I walked (zombie walk) with out a crutch. Both hands free!!!! Today i am back with the one crutch, but still, the progress is really good. I now believe I will be walking with only a slight limp by Christmas.
I do have more pain, but I think it is good pushing yourself kind of pain, not you shouldn't be doing this kinda pain.

I'll bet you let Miss Daisy back in...such a routine job that you could literally do that in your sleep! And it is not a memorable job, so it wouldn't register on the memory richter scale:)
Glad you are making progress. I took pics of my 'hooker' dtr tonight. Will post on Monday.
Beagles sure can be tricksters! Maybe you did, maybe you didn't...
Either you let her in, or some friendly ghost opened the door for her, ya think? One would think putting weight on the foot would wake you up, but I've been known to talk to a child who was coming in late, and the next morning not remember it. (or even later in the night, I've gotten up to see if their car was home yet, found that it was, and the next morning they swear I answered when they said "Mom, I'm home!")
I'm glad the walking is progressing, anyway. Hugs...
