Class #2: Paper piecing

Here is our second layout, which is a variation fo the Bits and Pieces layout from the Imagine collection. It is done using the Notebook paper pack and some cocoa cardstock. I used some additional pearl stick ons.

It is a layout idea scraplifted from a layout I saw done with the Felicity paper set, interpreted to Notebook. The basic paer piecing is on the bird wing and the bracket/frame background.

I think it makes a great February/Valentines layout!

Glitter layout

Here is the layout we are doing first in my scrapbook class at Oasis this winter. It is the January layout using the Heather font and the techniques of adding bling and glitter. I used the making a glitter border on the lower left corner and cut out the snowflake circles and put glitter insets in them. I added the glitter circle stick on and although you can't see it, I added prisma glitter to the tops of 2010 and January for a frosty effect.

When I put our pcitures in I will probably add some stick on gems,snowflakes and twinkle brads to even bling it up more.
